Activity name: Neigborhood Walk; Sat. Oct. 10 9AM – 11 AM; UNLIMITED

What we did: Walk around putting flyers on doors in teams of 4.

My team- Karen.

Flyer: YES on G. [For great local high schools]

Trail #1: Fence climbing

We climbed the mini fence on the side of Lynbrook  a total of three times. (Back and forth.)

First time:

Karen: “Whee!”

Me: “OW”

Second Time:

Karen: “Whee!”

Me: “FECK”

Third time:

Karen: “Whee!”

Me:  “SHIT”

By this time I was bleeding in various places.

Trial #2: Flyers

-At Madhav’s house-

Me: “KAREN! This large black fence is in the way. We must hang our flyer from the doorknob!”

Karen: “Let me just squeeze through this convenient gap in their [locked for a reason] fence.”

Trial #3: Please don’t hate us.

So we were walking along happily with our giant stack of papers when…

Karen: (Loudly, with earphones plugged in.) “MAN, **** IS SO ANTISOCIAL. HE PISSES ME OFF.”

Me: “Erm. Hi, ****.”

**** and his family waved akwardly at as from across the street.

When we finally got back to the checkpoint almost an hour after the finish time, the remaining two clean-up people applauded.
